sol-dreams collects the emotional words you submit, the solfeggio frequencies assigned to you, and basic account information (email address). We store your history to provide progressive, personalized readings.
Your emotional inputs are sent to Anthropic's Claude API for analysis and frequency mapping. Anthropic may retain this data temporarily (up to 30 days) for safety monitoring but does not use API data to train their models. We do not access your Spotify account — playlists are pre-made and linked for you to listen to directly. We do not sell, share, or monetize your personal data.
sol-dreams uses Google Firebase for authentication (email, Apple, and Google sign-in) and Cloud Firestore for data storage. Google processes your data as a service provider under their Data Processing and Security Terms. Anthropic's Claude API is used for emotion analysis — your emotional words are sent to Anthropic's servers in the United States for processing. Cloudflare provides website hosting and API infrastructure — Cloudflare may process request metadata (such as IP addresses) for security and performance purposes. Playlists are hosted on Spotify and linked within the app. Each service has its own privacy policy.
Your emotional history is retained as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the settings screen within the app.
You can revoke AI data sharing consent at any time from the settings screen within the app. When revoked, sol-dreams will not send your emotional words to Anthropic for analysis until you re-enable it. You can delete your account and all associated data from the settings screen.
The emotional words you submit may be considered health-related data under certain state laws, including the Washington My Health My Data Act. We collect this data only with your consent, use it solely to provide frequency readings and playlists, and do not sell or share it. You may delete all health-related data by deleting your account.
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, request its deletion, and opt out of its sale. We do not sell personal information. To exercise your rights, email info@sol-dreams.app.
sol-dreams is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected data from a user under 18, we will delete it promptly.
We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit and at rest. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and any applicable regulatory authorities as required by law.

Lawful basis for processing: We process your personal data under the following legal bases: (a) your explicit consent for processing emotional words and sharing them with Anthropic's AI (GDPR Article 6(1)(a) and, where applicable, Article 9(2)(a)); (b) performance of our contract with you for account management and service delivery (Article 6(1)(b)); (c) our legitimate interest in maintaining service security and preventing abuse (Article 6(1)(f)).
Your rights: If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you have the right to: access your personal data (Article 15), rectify inaccurate data (Article 16), erase your data (Article 17), restrict processing (Article 18), data portability in a machine-readable format (Article 20), object to processing (Article 21), and withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing. International data transfers: Your data is transferred to the United States for processing by Google Firebase (authentication and storage), Anthropic (AI analysis via Cloudflare Worker), and Cloudflare (infrastructure). These transfers are protected by: the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (Google, Cloudflare), Standard Contractual Clauses incorporated into each provider's data processing agreements (Google, Anthropic, Cloudflare), and contractual commitments to equivalent data protection standards.
Data retention: Emotional entries and frequency history are retained for the duration of your account. Anthropic retains API data for up to 30 days for safety monitoring, then deletes it. Account data is deleted within 180 days of account deletion from all third-party systems.
Automated decision-making: sol-dreams uses AI (Anthropic's Claude) to analyze your emotional words and select solfeggio frequencies. This automated processing produces personalized frequency readings and playlist recommendations. You have the right to obtain human review of these decisions, express your point of view, and contest the outcome by contacting info@sol-dreams.app.
Right to lodge a complaint: You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority. A list of EU supervisory authorities is available at edpb.europa.eu. For UK residents, the supervisory authority is the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
If you are located in Brazil, you have rights under the Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD), including: confirmation of processing, access, correction, anonymization, portability, deletion, information about sharing, and consent revocation.
